Set Yahooey as your default home page: Instructions

To assist you in setting your default home page, this page has opened in a new window. In a second you will need to switch back to your old window to copy the URL, so please do not close your old window. Please choose the type of browser you are currently using from the list below. When you are done reading the steps, click on the "Click here to close this window" button to close this window.


  Internet Explorer users  To make any Yahooey page your default home page, follow these steps:
  1. Switch windows and return to the previous page then select and copy the Web page address in the address or URL field located at the top of the page. Next switch windows to return to this page. (Note: A Web address or URL should look something like http://www.yahooey.com/index.htm
  2. In the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
  3. On the General tab in the Home page section, paste the URL you just copied.
  4. Click OK.

  Internet Explorer for Macintosh users  To make any Yahooey page your default home page, follow these steps:
  1. Switch windows and return to the previous page then select and copy the Web page address in the address or URL field located at the top of the page. Next switch windows to return to this page. (Note: A Web address or URL should look something like http://www.yahooey.com/index.htm
  2. On the Edit menu, click Preferences. (Mac OS X users need to select the Explorer menu)
  3. In the list on the left of the dialog box, click the Browser Display button (under Web Browser).
  4. In the Address text box, paste the URL you just copied.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Click the Home button in the button bar.

  Netscape Communicator users  To make any Yahooey page your default home page, follow these steps:
  1. Switch windows and return to the previous page then select and copy the Web page address in the address or URL field located at the top of the page. Next switch windows to return to this page. (Note: A Web address or URL should look something like http://www.yahooey.com/index.htm
  2. In the Edit menu, click Preferences. (Mac OS X users should use the Netscape menu if using Netscape or the Mozilla menu if using Mozilla)
  3. Click the Home button in the Navigator Starts with section.
  4. In the Location: text box in the middle of the window, paste the URL you just copied.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Click the Home button in the toolbar.

  AOL users 

 To make any Yahooey page your default home page, follow these steps:

  1. Switch windows and return to the previous page then select and copy the Web page address in the address or URL field located at the top of the page. Next switch windows to return to this page. (Note: A Web address or URL should look something like  http://www.yahooey.com/index.htm
  2. On the Settings menu on the AOL toolbar, click Preferences.
  3. In the Organization section of the Preferences window, click Internet Properties (WWW).
  4. In the Home Page section of the General tab, paste the URL you just copied.
